Delete your account
You can delete your Stash Findr account and its data at any time, in the app or by email.
In the app
- Open Stash Findr and go to Profile.
- Tap Delete account.
- Read the warning and confirm.
The account is deleted right away, and the data below is removed from my servers within 30 days.
By email
If you no longer have the app, email mishababec@gmail.com with the subject "Delete my Stash Findr account", from the email address you signed in with (for Sign in with Apple with a hidden email, tell me the Apple ID email instead). I'll confirm and delete the account within 30 days.
What gets deleted
- Your sign-in account.
- Your account data on my servers: token balance, Pro status, settings and synced content.
- Catalogs and cards you shared: sharing stops for everyone, and their photos in my cloud storage are deleted.
- Your membership in catalogs others shared with you.
What is kept
- Purchase records, without your name or email, as long as needed to prevent fraud and meet legal and tax obligations.
- Crash reports, which aren't linked to your name or email and expire automatically.
Good to know
- Data stored only on your phone (cards and photos on the device) is removed when you uninstall the app. Export anything you want to keep first.
- Photos in your own Google Drive or iCloud are in your account with that provider. The app removes the ones it can reach when you delete the account in the app (Google Drive keeps them in its trash for 30 days); otherwise delete the Stash Findr folder there if you want them gone.
- People you shared catalogs or cards with keep the copies they already have on their devices.
- Deleting the account doesn't refund purchases or cancel anything with Apple or Google. Pro is a one-time purchase, so there's no subscription to cancel. Unused AI tokens are lost.
